GRACARO Staff<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The staff of GRACARO embarked on a three-day journey to some organizations in Bamenda to evaluate their activities and come up with strategies to be able to work and partner together in some of their major projects.<\/p>\n

This was done using an assessment form where the organizations being visited had a one-on-one interview with GRACARO on several aspects such as their vision, mission, and how they are able to raise finances for their projects, as well as plan of action for the current year.<\/p>\n

The five organizations are; Strategic Relief and Social Rehabilitation Services (STRESSORS), Sustainable Initiative for Women and Girls (SIWOG), Faith and Charitable Intergraded Association(FACIA), Home of Hope Restoration Center, Charmers Media and Communication Consult( CHAMECC),\u00a0 with Grace Charitable and Rehabilitation Organization (GRACARO) inclusive.<\/p>\n

These organizations share similar goals with GRACARO such as reaching out to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), women and girls empowerment as well as working with the vulnerable persons in the community.<\/p>\n

Activities Done<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

They however revealed where they are lagging behind; FACIA for instance which deals with the mentally challenged hope to have a home for mentally challenged persons which according to them is going to act as a rehabilitation for the vulnerable, SIWOG and STRESSORS aspire to work with other organizations for the sake of visibility as well as get funders for their major projects. These are in a bit to make the organization go forward.<\/p>\n

Just like every other organization, these organizations face numerous challenges in their work with humanity and hope for a better outcome. Some of the challenges are; limited workforce, lack of funders, no financial plans, no track records of activities, lack of equipment just to name these. These challenges are one of the main causes why these organizations are lagging<\/p>\n

As a solution, GRACARO proposes that, an adequate workforce for activities should be employed, records of all activities, compelling write-ups and projects to attract funders, have delegated staff to different task especially those who can make the organization visible. This they believe if done, can help bring out the positive image of the organizations.<\/p>\n

Strengthening partnership therefore between GRACARO and the afore mentioned organizations would go a long way to making these organizations well known as well as their activities and projects.<\/p>\n
