World Water Day, observed annually on March 22nd<\/sup>, serves as a global reminder of the vital importance of freshwater resources and the need for sustainable water management practices. As an organization committed to environmental stewardship and community empowerment, it is crucial to prepare and engage in meaningful activities to commemorate this significant day.<\/p>\n

Part of activities to commemorate the day has been to visit and examine a water tank at the Sissia IV community in the Bamenda III sub division which was a success.<\/p>\n

The day is commemorated this year under the theme Leveraging Water for Peace to raise awareness and inspire action to tackle the water and sanitation crisis. According to the UN, 2,.2 billion people live without access to safe water. This theme showcases water\u2019s pivotal role in fostering peace, prosperity, and conflict prevention.<\/p>\n

Preparation of World Water Day involves a multifaceted approach that combines research, education, community engagement, advocacy, and practical initiatives.<\/p>\n
